In the uproarious second season of this relatable comedy from Finland, 30-something couple Aino and Micke consider starting a family, which is easier said than done! When Aino's good friend Emma tells them she's pregnant, Aino and Micke begin to reflect on their own attitude towards starting a family: Do they want children? Is this a good time to try to have a child? Meanwhile, Aino has problems giving up smoking, especially when the deadline for her book is getting close.

When Aino isn't pregnant after three months of trying, she consults Emma. Aino stops drinking coffee and alcohol and only asks Micke to give up cola drinks containing aspartame. Micke's parents, Gunne and Lasse, also hear about the couple's attempts to have a baby and try to help in their own awkward way.

Eight months later Aino is still not pregnant, which has begun to affect her self-esteem. The pressing situation is not alleviated when Micke's big sister, Edith, who seems to be perfection itself, arrives on a surprise visit.
