The disappearance of a key suspect casts an ominous shadow over the investigation. PJ and Linus attempt to piece together what happened the day that Tommy Burke disappeared. PJ makes a dangerous decision that leaves him worrying his actions may have jeopardized the investigation. However, a startling breakthrough turns everything on its head and throws the entire case into doubt.

A month has passed with no new leads, and the case has fallen dormant. As the village tries to put the terrible events behind it, PJ harbors doubts about what really happened. When a new discovery reignites the investigation, PJ is forced to question everything he has learned so far.

When PJ uncovers the truth behind the body, Duneen is changed forever. No longer able to turn a blind eye to those around him, PJ must also confront his own personal demons as he attempts to bring the killer to justice.
