About

In this "tense" (The New York Times) psychological mystery, Detective Senior Sergeant Jess Savage (Kate Elliott, Wentworth, The Cult) is recovering from a car crash that killed her husband when she hears about a new lead in a high-profile case she worked on years ago. Jess demands to continue the investigation but starts to notice troubling lapses in her memory. Are they a side effect of her injuries, or is she slowly losing her mind?

Jess hides her dilemma from her capable but arrogant partner, Detective Sergeant Justin Harding (Ido Drent, The Making of the Mob, Offspring), as the pair tackle other crimes on Waiheke Island, New Zealand. But when Jess remembers more about the crash, she realizes the pieces don't add up and vows to find the truth. As she searches for answers, she begins to fathom that justice isn't always right, and some crimes aren't always wrong.
