Grandpa's childhood friend Granddad Gilbert comes to visit with his granddaughter Martha. They haven't seen each other for many years. But when Gilbert turns up he's a huge disappointment to Grandpa. // Mr Mentor the Inventor is going to a meeting of the "Most Remarkabubble Inventors in the Universe" so he asks Dad to look after his Custard Puff Plopper while he's away. The invention is not behaving itself! Dad, Jemima and Jason rush off to the lighthouse and of course Grandpa wants to come too.

Mr Mentor the Inventor has invented some Brillioso Bicycle Bells - not only do they look "spectopular" they all have their own distinctive ring. Mr Liker Biker can't wait to buy one so he rushes to Dad's Bike Shop where he starts trying them all out. // Mum's latest hobby is growing oddly-shaped vegetables and before long the vegetables have taken over the house and garden. Mum has grown very attached to her "babies".

Floyd, the boy next door, is a big spoilt show off. He has just got a brand new bike and wastes no time showing it off to Jason. The boys decide to go on a bike ride around Sunnysands but just as they're about to leave, the chain falls off Floyd's bike. // Jemima is looking forward to looking after a little boy called Shanay but when he arrives he's far too shy to play with anything and he's certainly too shy to meet Grandpa! So Grandpa puts on his shrinking cap and attempts to bring Shanay out of his shell.

Jason, Jemima and their friend Izzie are putting on a Captain Dumbletwit play to be performed at Miss Smiley's Café. All is going well until Floyd turns up and takes over, ousting Grandpa from the role of Captain Dumbletwit's arch rival. // There's a new girl at Jemima's school - Tiffany Jayne Grottington Pump - and Jemima is desperate for her to be her best friend. Jemima invites Tiffany around to play and urges Jason and Grandpa to behave themselves.

Grandpa, Jason and Jemima are making a "wild and scary" animal park out of some animal figures when Bubbles the babysitter turns up. She has brought her new kitten called Squeak to show them. // Jason's friend Dora is having a birthday party and Jason wants to buy her a special present. He knows Dora is very fond of dolls, but he wants to get her something different for a change. Eager to help out, Grandpa shrinks and makes his way to Mr Whoops' Toy Shop.
6. A Very Needy Speedy Edie // Making the Most of Max

Mr Liker Biker is looking after the Bike Shop when a very important customer turns up - supreme cycling champion Speedy Edie! She's about to embark on a round-the-world cycling race and has a huge long list of requirements. // Grandpa is very excited because his other grandson, Max (Jason's little cousin) is coming to visit. Max is heavily into the Stone Age so Grandpa helps him make Stone Age world out of modelling clay.
