Dennis and Joey get stuck in the gorilla costume that George was to wear to a costume party that night. Confusion rules the day when a real gorilla escapes from the circus and Martha mistakenly takes him to the party. All is put to right when the love-sick gorilla pursues the costumed Dennis and Joey and ends up back in the circus. // Dennis and Joey visit Dennis' grandfather in a retirement community. Things move pretty slowly until the boys arrive and liven up everyone, making them feel more energetic than they have felt in years. // Margaret says Max the Magnificent is a better magician than Dennis; but when they go to see his show, Dennis knows all the tricks and shows up the mean magician to the delight of the audience.

Dennis spends a nerve-wracking afternoon avoiding his cat after PeeBee's latest invention shrinks him to the size of a mouse. A quick swan dive into the cat's milk bowl proves to be a successful antidote. // The Mitchell's and Margaret shipwreck their not-so-seaworthy boat on an island with not-so-friendly natives. The natives are about to sacrifice Henry and Alice to the bubbling volcano, Margaret, "entertains the troops" with a zinging rendition of "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain". Meanwhile Dennis sneaks in for the rescue. Lucky, the parrot, leads them to an abandoned plane and Henry flies them out to safety. // After dropping Mrs. Wilson's freshly baked pie, Dennis substitutes bouncy Nutty Putty for the pie while he tries to bake another one. Mr. Wilson will not be put off, though, and he eats "the pie" to Dennis' astonishment, declaring it delicious, but his jog around the block is much bouncier than ever before.

Henry has a great video movie of Dennis making Mr. Wilson's life a mess as he tries to wash his car. Turnabout is fair play as Mr. Wilson films Henry getting the bucket on his head as he tries to paint the house. // On a Scout field trip Dennis and Joey stray from the group and discover a Viking frozen in a cave. Thor adapts quickly to the 20th century with Dennis' help. After defeating Gunnar the Barbarian in a wrestling match he is declared the new champion. // A circus seal on his way to Ocean World slides out of the van and makes a new friend of Dennis. He takes him home, but the seal, tantalized by the smell of the huge fish Mr. Wilson caught, slithers into the Wilson's house, eats the fish, and makes a mess of the house. Ocean World rewards Dennis for taking care of him by putting him in the show with the seal.

As the filthiest kid ever seen, Dennis is grabbed for a soap commercial, but manages to make shambles of the studio spreading soap bubbles and peanut butter everywhere and remaining the filthiest kid ever seen. // With scientific equipment at the ready, Henry and another scientist go out on Loch Ness to discover the monster, but Dennis accidentally renders the instruments useless as he reacts in astonishment to Nessie following them. Later when Henry is in trouble on the lake, Dennis gets his new friend Nessie to rescue them. // Chef Pierre has grabbed all the frogs in the neighborhood, including Dennis' pet frog, Willy, to make his famous frog legs. But never fear, Dennis and Joey come to the rescue and frogs won't be on the menu.

Mr. Wilson wins a goose in a contest, but is not very pleased with her honking and biting. Dennis and PeeBee send the real goose to a farm to be happy and substitute a robot goose so Mr. Wilson won't miss it. Needless to say, things don't run smoothly with the new goose and Mr. Wilson is delighted to discover the deception. // While visiting his Aunt Evelyn in a fancy hotel, Dennis is mistaken for a spy contact and he and Gina wind up in the middle of a TV brain-washing plot. After holding the bad guys off with studio equipment hidden in the basement, the federal agents arrive in time and Dennis and Gina are the heroes of the day. // After accidentally kicking a football through Henry's new big screen TV, Dennis gets some attention from his father who tries to be a good sport playing games with Dennis; but they succeed only in irritating Mr. Wilson and to Henry's delight he ends up spending the afternoon locked in Mr. Wilson's garage watching football on a beat-up TV.

Martha's out of town and Dennis feels sorry for Mr. Wilson. He joins him at 2:00 a.m. to the poor man's horror. After locking themselves out of the house, they try sleeping in Dennis' room, where they're discovered by Henry. Walking Mr. Wilson home, everyone gets locked out and it's an uncomfortable stormy night in a pup tent. // Dennis receives, by mistake, a top secret experimental jet-suit instead of his Super Duper costume and fulfills his dream of being a Super Duper Hero. Not only does he fly around performing good deeds, but he saves Henry's new jet plane from sabotage and catches the crooks. // Dennis and Margaret leave the boat on a jungle ride and discover the jungle is for real. While following a lion who has Margaret's doll, they fall upon a bunch of criminals who are grabbing the animals for their restaurant. The crooks are routed and Dennis and Margaret have a new bunch of animal friends.
