About

On April 22, 1993, 18-year-old Stephen Lawrence was killed in an attack by a racist gang. Thirteen years later, his parents continue to fight for justice. When DCI Clive Driscoll (Steve Coogan, Philomena) comes across the cold case file, he is convinced it can be solved, despite opposition from within the police. Shocked by historical failures, Clive tasks an independent team of forensic scientists to conduct a fresh examination of the evidence. Meanwhile, he works to gain the trust of Doreen and Neville Lawrence (Sharlene Whyte, We Hunt Together & Hugh Quarshie, Breeders) and win over key witnesses who were mishandled during previous inquiries.
