About

With the rising of Cold Squad's profile and the introduction of a larger, province-wide task force comes a battle of wills for jurisdiction over the squad. A moral conflict is sparked when Lance Rivett, a prisoner at Matsqui, offers information on a double murder in a last ditch attempt to be awarded early parole. Frank Coscarella is initially skeptical of Lance's enthusiasm to assist the police but quickly changes his mind when one of Lance's clues help Cold Squad find a purse belonging to one of the murdered teenage girls.

Sergeant Ali McCormick and Homicide Detective Bill Overmyer partner up to re-investigate the mysterious and brutal death of Sarah Mills, a 27 year-old street person, found strangled and poisoned in an abandoned industrial building three years ago. Manny videotapes the officers as they survey the crime scene for the newly created Cold Squad website. Bill runs down the details of his first homicide case, a painful reminder of an unsolved tragedy, when they run into an enigmatic street person, the Moonman, who's cryptic ramblings give the officers hope that the killer of Sarah Mills may be found.
