In the rough and tumble world of Fairbanks, baby-faced Trevor Norris must survive the new recruit training to become an Alaskan police officer. 46-year-old rookie, Stefanie Jones, brings life experience to policing in the remote town of Kotzebue.

In Fairbanks, Officer Winter learns that danger can come right to his front door. And when a reckless bear comes too close to downtown Sitka, Officer Steele faces the difficult task of keeping the public safe while protecting the Alaskan wildlife.

Despite its isolation, Alaska is still affected by winds of changes blowing in from the Lower 48. In Sitka, Sgt. Ewers must protect its residents from deadly drugs coming into his idyllic island town.
