Amy, a vibrant law student, is attacked and raped by Demetri, a friend of a friend she met once. Discovering that she is pregnant from the rape, Amy makes the difficult decision to keep the baby. After giving birth, she decides to start over in Atlanta. 6 years later, Demetri finds her and, to her horror, sues for custody of her daughter.
