The Trail

In the fall of 1848, Amelia and her husband secretly join the last caravan headed west in pursuit of California gold. Now the sole survivor of a savage attack, Amelia is left without resources or the know-how to battle hunger and the elements. Can Amelia overcome her feelings of divine abandonment and find a way to make it through the frigid winter alone?
