The North Star

Set in an idyllic Ukrainian village in 1941, just before a Nazi invasion takes over the village. This film opens with a young cohort of teens on their way to Kiev for a holiday when the attack takes place. They, and the other villagers, organize an uprising again their occupiers. Produced as a propaganda piece to rally American support, the film has a start-studded cast.
