The Chosen

Simon, a disabled shepherd, struggles to keep pace with his counterparts, yet he diligently seeks to understand the ancient prophecies about the promised Messiah who will bring healing and hope to his people. Simon's weakness makes him a pariah among his fellow Israelites, especially the leader of the synagogue who is disgusted by his imperfection. Simon seems doomed to a life of pain and struggle as an outsider until a miraculous revelation allows him to be part of the greatest moment in history.
