The Black Cauldron

A fantasy epic based on Lloyd Alexander's acclaimed "The Chronicles of Prydain" series of five books, "The Black Cauldron" is the heroic saga of a young boy named Taran who must prevent the evil "horned king" from gaining possession of the "black cauldron," a mysterious force capable of producing an army of supernatural warriors. Taran is aided in his quest by his mentor "Dallben," Princess Eilonwy, a furry creature called Gurgi, a traveling minstrel named "Fflewddur Fflam," the clairvoyant pig "Hen Wen" and a trio of eccentric witches named "Orwen, Orgoch, and Orddu." Fantasy, magic and fun are all brewed together in Disney's legendary adventure The Black Cauldron.
