About
When the Wall Street Journal revealed Elvis's great-great-grandmother was Jewish, filmmakers explored the King's Jewish roots. They followed Hasidic Elvis impersonator Dan Hartal, aka Schmelvis, on a journey to the Holy Land to plant a tree in Elvis's memory and then to Graceland to recite the Kaddish, the Jewish prayer for the dead, at his grave, blending humor, devotion, and a unique cultural exploration of the King's heritage.
