At the end of 1999, high schooler Jooyoung meets Yeji, a fast-food worker, after delivering a love note for a friend. A twist of fate leads them to live together. On a trip with friends, Jooyoung realizes his feelings for Yeji are real. Despite adult disapproval, they fight to protect their love and take responsibility for their choices.
