Lassie In "The Painted Hills"

A prospector whose companion is a beautiful collie played by Lassie, (but named Shep in the film) looks after the family of his late partner. After years of digging in the hills of California, he finally strikes gold, but before he can share it with the family, his new partner Lin, kills him and poisons Lassie, who nearly dies, but then recovers and saves the day!
