Slick scam artist Doyle Kennedy (Matt Dillon) has a new con on his mind as he helps down-on-his-luck traveler Wade Corey (Andrew McCarthy) hop a freight train. Doyle's been looking for a partner in crime, and he's determined to take Wade along for the ride. But though Wade finds the danger intoxicating, he realizes he may be looking at serious jail time, or worse, unless he finds a way out fast!
