How We Met

Ted is a loser, but after a rough break-up with his longtime girlfriend, he finds himself back in the dating game he knows nothing about. His first blind date goes horribly wrong when he spills his first drink all over Marie, a woman clearly out of his league. Matters go from bad to worse when she drives him angrily home and a corrupt officer stops them. A nightmare traffic stop gets ugly when they accidentally shoot and kill the infamously dirty narco cop. In a split second, they decide to hide the body and go on the run. Little do they know, this move hurls them into the midst of a cartel drug war where they find themselves in possession of the most coveted drug on earth. They must seek help from a wild and narcissistic British DJ and hatch a plan to stay alive. With the cops after them and the cartel on their heels, Ted and Marie must learn to get along if they want to live, and Ted has to evolve from a sheltered religious choirboy to an international badass in the course of the night.
