About
When an engaged woman falls in love with a wounded man that her family is caring for, she flees her wedding and finds herself held hostage by outlaws.
Scrappy scientist John Abbott (Donald Woods) makes the dangerous trek west to examine a plot of land he purchased sight-unseen and arrives to find it overrun by outlaws. After being shot by a vicious gunman, Abbott tumbles down a cliff and falls into quicksand. He is rescued by kindly rancher Andrew Naab (Robert Barrat) and promptly falls for his beautiful daughter, Miriam Naab (Evelyn Venable). When Miriam falls prey to a band of abductors, Abbott steps in and struggles to save her.
