Guy from Harlem

In 1976, Al Connors is a streetwise detective from Harlem, currently working in Miami. The CIA hires him to protect an African princess from potential assassins, and he ends up doing his job a little too well. His work gets him the attention of a gangster named Harry De Bauld, one of the top king-pins in Miami. De Bauld's daughter, Wanda, has been kidnapped by ruthless rival gangster Big Daddy, and De Bauld's crew is too heart-broken to get her back. Connors has to up his game in order to rescue the gangster's daughter and bring her back alive.
