Going the Distance

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long (He's Just Not That Into You) reunite as a couple trying to maintain a long-distance relationship -- against all odds -- in this romantic comedy from the producers of Hairspray and 17 Again. Playing a couple who are good together -- even when they're apart -- one is an assistant at a Manhattan-based record company, the other's an aspiring journalist heading back to Berkeley to finish school. With a webcam connection and frequent flier miles, the two gamely navigate the pitfalls and miscommunications of their bicoastal romance, dodging bad advice from friends and some predatory singles who won't take "taken" for an answer.
