Lenny Slater (Corey Haim) is in hot water with everybody at his school, Ridgefield University, and the one girl he wants to take to the homecoming dance, Jenny, wants nothing to do with him. When a field trip to the power plant turns into a terrorist takeover and his peers are taken hostage, it's up to Lenny to be a hero and save the day!
