Children of the Wild

In many cultures there are myths about "wolf children", young children who have been taken from their families and then grown up in the wild, either alone or with wolves, bears or other animals as surrogate parents. But how close are ideas about such feral children to reality? The film studies well-documented stories of wild children, exploring plausible cases in India and Africa, while tracing the origins and development of Mowgli in Kipling's famous Jungle Book.
