Chato's Land

After killing a sheriff in self-defense, Chato (Charles Bronson), a half-Native horseman, is pursued across the desert by a disreputable, ragtag posse led by an ex-Confederate officer (Jack Palance), who is determined to see Chato hang. The odds shift in Chato's favor, however, when he leads his pursuers into Apache territory, where the harsh countryside can kill a man as surely as a bullet.
