Afraid of the Dark

An 11-year-old boy believes that his mother (Fanny Ardant- - "Elizabeth ," "8 Women") has been targeted by a serial killer who preys upon the blind. The young boy becomes obsessed with his mother's blindness -- and with finding the serial killer who has eluded his policeman father (James Fox -- "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Mickey Blue Eyes"). Has this boy discovered a lethal plot, or are his fears the product of a disturbed young mind with a penchant for fantasy? And if his fear truly presages the next murder, will anyone believe him in this psychological thriller?
