Women in Cybersecurity

Women in Cyber security provides a basic overview of the employment status of women in the cyber security field. While women comprise over 50% of the workforce in the U.S., less than 25% of cyber staff are female. This book offers a close look at the current status of women in the cyber security arena, highlights reasons for the paucity of women, and--relying both on research and personal experience--offers suggestions that will encourage women to join this technical field.
