War in Sorcery's Shadow

According to myth, the Guardians ended the Sorcery War by draining sorcerers of their powers and or killing them. Then the Guardians vanished without a trace. The myths are wrong. The truth could halt a second sorcery war in its tracks, as could Ruarnon and Linh, who possess an unknown influence over a key player in a continent-wide power struggle. Ruarnon sails west, seeking their abducted family and the missing Zaldean army. Their natural allies are the Galvations, an occupied kingdom devastated by Nartzeer's invasion. The Gavlations' occupiers are the enslaved Zaldean army. Freeing the Zaldeans is also a chance to free the Galvations if Nartzeer's sorcerer overseers can be overcome. The Elite Guard are willing to deal with the sorcerers, but that could re-ignite the Second Sorcery War. It's unclear how to free Ruarnon's parents. That and Linh's quest to get back to Australia will see them knock on Nartzeer's front door. After things go south between Nartzeer and neighboring kingdoms and all hell breaks loose. Racing against time to the heart of the struggle, Ruarnon and Linh hope to stop the Second Sorcery War before the point of no return, a point that would kill Ruarnon's parents in its crossfire.
