About
This book is written for all who are involved in gifted education, including teachers, administrators, and university faculty. For many years, we have known that there are disproportionate numbers of Black, Hispanic, and Native American students; English language learners; and students living in poverty in gifted education programs. Understanding and Using the Naglieri General Ability Tests: A Call for Equity in Gifted Education addresses these issues and provides strategies and suggestions to identify and enfranchise students who have previously been denied access. This book is divided into three parts, all focused on identifying and providing services to the "invisible gifted," students who are really smart but have been left out of gifted services due to obtaining scores "below the cut".
