The World From the Eighth Grade

The written world view of teenagers over a thirty-year span (1970 into the 2000s). in the San Francisco Bay Area, from diverse racial, and socio-economic backgrounds. The teens were from: one of the first racially integrated schools in the nation, during that change, in Sausalito, California; students in a State-run residential care facility for the emotionally disturbed; to a Junior High School in Oakland, California, serving its inner-city population.
