About

When Bravo, a blind dog, is cast aside and Smoke, a three-legged cat, is thrown away for no longer being "perfect," their lives seem destined for loneliness. But when the two meet by chance, they discover that friendship can grow in the unlikeliest of places.Together, Bravo and Smoke learn to survive, to trust again, and to lean on each other's strengths. Their bond leads them to new friends, a kind woman in need of help, and eventually to a young boy who, like them, knows what it feels like to be rejected for being different.Warm, funny, and compassionate, THE TALE OF BRAVO AND SMOKE is a story about kindness, resilience and the power of friendship. I was born in the North East of England and qualified as an Architect in London. Subsequently I spent much of my career living and working in Northern Nigeria, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain working on various projects including schools, housing, hospitals, leisure centres, shopping malls, royal palaces and particularly highly prestigious hotels.I have now returned to England and live in Sheffield with my wife Patricia. Amongst other books I am the author of 'Sinistrari', 'Gallows Walk' 'Murder by Illusion' and 'Dead Girl Found' as well as the children's book 'The Adventures of a Travelling Cat.'Other titles are in progress and will be published shortly.I like travel, reading, the countryside, sport and for my sins support Newcastle United FC.
