The Snake Handlin' Man is Eddie Marlow, make-do guitarist, ex-Marine, and the world's best tambourine player, ever. The band is eating at a cheap diner with the local club manager, making arrangements for the evening's gig, when they are attacked by a swarm of flying snakes.
