This diary, rewritten by Ernesto Che Guevara, in narrative form, thanks to his detailed annotations, is the account of the journey made by Che and his friend Alberto Granado, from Argentina to Venezuela, in 1952. Adventure and emotion interspersed with reflections on multiple aspects of America, the misery of the Indians, the astonishment of knowing the sea, the world perceived through the eyes of a 23 year-old young man, willing to surprise and compassion, but also wanting to discover his true vocation, enjoy life, fall in love yourself truly. All this while the bike follows the dusty and risky roads, losing parts along the way, causing tumbles and tragicomic episodes.
