The Mixtape, Vol. 2 is the newest collection of short stories and flash fiction from Kenya Moss-Dyme. Similar to Vol. I, published in 2017, four of these stories were originally published in other anthologies but two of them are brand new for this volume. My favorite authors were Stephen King and Jack Ketchum, as I wasn't aware of any bIack women - or black men - who wrote horror, so I began writing short-form horror in my teens. I didn't release my first book until many decades later, thanks to the advances of self-publishing. Although I may occasionally drop a work of romance, my real passion is weaving stories about monsters – both the kind that come from the pits of hell or the kind that may live right next door.
