The Jackrabbit in the Mountains

Despite the hostility of her classmates and the adults, Irena loves her home, her after-school activities, spending time by the river, and the small dirt road that runs alongside the village. It comes as a shock when she finds out that she has to leave this place, which has meant the whole world to her, to move to another country. How can she find her place in her new life, far from everything she has known until now? And are the mountain ranges a safe haven or a trap from which she must escape at all costs?
