About
Though all of my poetry contains bits of my soul, the poems in this collection hold a light to the corners of my heart that I usually hide.I am a poet, a lover, a thinker. I am human. I am not an open book although I wish that I could be. A part of me is all you see-the rest is hidden deep inside. I share it only with those few I trust, with whom I've cried. And now, with you.Words have always been my art. They dance for me and sing for me. They laugh for me and cry for me. They are my paint and brushes. They are my clay. And now they are a mirror too. I learned to read when I was four years old, and I began writing soon thereafter. My first story was about a girl and her horse-it was awful, but my parents loved it, which encouraged me to continue. My favourite genres are of the fantastical and magical, where the mundane rules of real life don't apply.
