In "The Bride of Frankenstein," Dr. Frankenstein, after a previous incident, is persuaded to create a companion for the Monster by his mentor, Dr. Pretorius, and the Monster himself. The Monster, now capable of speech and more intelligent, desires a mate to share his existence. Dr. Frankenstein, initially hesitant, is eventually coerced into creating the Bride, despite the ethical concerns and the potential repercussions.
