The Art of Watch Repair, Includes descriptions of the movement of the watch, the parts of the watch and also common reasons for the stoppage of wrist watches. It is not proposed in this book to enter into the question of the history of the watch, nor to discuss who invented this or that portion of it, but simply to take the modern watch as it is, and describe as clearly as possible how it works and how to repair and keep it in order.
