That Which Was So Fair - A Ghost Story

The Fen country in the autumn of 1850 is dank and drab. A young woman, Catherine Greencliffe, comes from the other end of England to care for a small child who has been abandoned by his mother. On the surface all seems well but she soon becomes prey to mysterious compulsions and visions. She comes to realize that Southwell Hall holds a secret that she is not invited to share and at last makes a dreadful discovery.
