A mechanic who's been to prison and a highly skilled plastic surgeon are certainly an unlikely match. Richard Buchanan, wrongfully convicted, is now looking for a new start by taking a job in China. Dr. Susan Ryan is taking a break from her controlling family and fiancé to do some charity work in Bangladesh. But their plans go awry when their plane crashes into the Pacific and they are the only survivors. Only their ingenuity in building a make-shift raft from debris keeping them alive.
