Two young ladies meet as they prepare to enter college. They decide to room together, and they become friends. Both are sport enthusiasts they enjoy horse riding, swimming, and tennis. Their personalities are distinctly opposite as they pursue different careers. The friendship endures in spite of personal relations to men. Accepting double invitations, they are invited to dinner in Saratoga by a mutual trustworthy friend. They are never seen again. Several years later, the mysterious disappearance is accidentally explained.
