Sometimes he went to Africa, sometimes to South America, and he found the life of a sailor not at all easy.Later, he went to Brazil, and became the owner of a farm. He took a trip to Africa in order to buy slaves for his farm. During the journey, the ship was wrecked in a storm. Crusoe was thrown upon shore, only to discover that he was the only survivor of the wreck.That was the beginning of the 28 years of his lonely life on the island…. Qiliang Feng has been teaching English in senior high schools since 1983. A passionate advocate for integrating reading into TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), he specializes in adapting and simplifying graded ESL (English as a Second Language) and EFL (English as a Foreign Language) readers.
