Relatos del Alba es una colección íntima de escritos breves, creados con alma, sin atajos ni artificios. Mel Matos grew up in Southamerica and lived in multiple countries. His professional life has focused on the auditing field and data science/analytics. His hobbies include composing and recording music, with two musical albums released: "Don't Want To Talk About it" & "Sale La Luna" under the artistic name "M.M. Rudimentary Music". Rudimentary Music represents a philosophy that involves going back to the roots of simple music, and avoiding the use of artificial intelligence and synthetic effects when it comes to music creation.He is also a proficient Salsa & Bachata social dancer where he developed an unique style and method. Practiced various sports (soccer, tennis, volleyball) and explored watercolour and acrylics painting, among others.Mel Matos has an special interest in Japan, Korea and China cultures.His first novel, Vladimir's Tower, was initially published in Spanish under the title "Vladimiro en su Pedestal y Relatos Ocultos" in Argentina in 2011. An English edition was released in 2020. Other books include short tale compilations: "Relatos Ocultos" (2020) & "Relatos del Alba" (2025), both in Spanish. "The Love That Should Have Been" is his second short novel, published in 2025 in Australia. Mel Matos started writing purely for enjoyment since he was 15 years old, participating in multiple literary contests in various countries.
