Laetitia has come back from India and prepares herself to pick up where she left off at the tiger reserve in Book One. Pranavi's marriage fails and other forces attempt to take over the estate. This is a multi-layered narrative where Blake sets out to come to Pranavi's rescue. We discover that Laetitia's vengeance is not in fact aimed at the woman she found her husband to be in love with.
