On the Vision and Death of Wetinus

This work describes a profound spiritual experience of Brother Guetinus in a monastery during the reign of King Louis. After experiencing physical discomfort, he encounters a terrifying vision filled with evil spirits intent on tormenting him. Just as despair sets in, divine mercy manifests through the appearance of honorable monks who command the spirits to leave. An angel then reassures Guetinus, prompting a reflection on sin and the fragility of humanity. Upon awakening, he shares his experience with fellow monks, who support him through prayer, highlighting themes of faith, fear, and divine protection.
