About
Miss Fletcher's War is a Fringe Theatre piece, set in the late 1960s in a primary school. A small group of children are reacting to the behaviour of the class bully by trying to bully him back. Miss Fletcher, a retired teacher, is brought it to see if she can help to resolve the situation, through the telling of stories.Initially, she tries to engage them using a fairytale. As the situation gets worse, she starts telling stories from the life of Lilly, a young nurse in the First World War. Guy is the 'writer in residence' for Hothouse Theatre, a community theatre project in Nottingham. He has written several fringe style plays and short films for Hothouse.
