About
I decided to embark on my study of the Mahabharata with the intention of taking a fresh look at it. While I had access to other translations in two languages, I was not convinced by the interpretations they offered for some ancient Indian terms and notions. While most of them treat this work as an epic, I decided to take its author at his word and decided to find history in this work. In the process of translating, I found that there is much in this work that is history. This allowed me to decode the hidden meanings of some of the terms in this work. That is the main difference between this translation and other translations.
