Join Wave One and Wave Two as they prepare for their lifelong adventure to Mars.Earth plans to inhabit Mars, with Wave One lunar inhabitants coming close to accomplishing this goal.Mars is under construction, preparing for the first wave of lunar inhabitants to become Mars inhabitants.Home Base selected several families for the next lunar mission. These ten families, known as Wave Two, from Earth, prepare to embark on the ultimate adventure that will last a lifetime. Their year-long training is about to begin.Upon receiving a notice acknowledging their acceptance into the program, they must reply with their acceptance or rejection.Once Home Base receives their notarized acceptance, they send a letter of invitation, explaining what is required of them.In the letter is a list of names, and contact email and text numbers, of the other participants.It is required for everyone to contact each other and introduce themselves to those they may spend the rest of their lives with.The letter raises several questions that make Wave Two concerned. They contacted each other to discuss the letter. They summarize their responses and present these matters to Home Base.This letter also provides contact information for the current Wave One lunar inhabitants.It is required to contact them with further questions, since they have been through the training program and are living on the Moon.Gary and Madeline at Home Base addressed their concerns, and the participants are now ready to embark on their training mission, preparing them to be the next group of lunar inhabitants.During the training, one young participant makes a rebellious mistake that compels Home Base to consider removing his family from the program.Home Base, together with the board, presents a decision that surprises everyone in Wave One and Wave Two. This decision will affect Wave One and Wave Two and all future projects. Earth plans to inhabit Mars.The first step is to establish a colony on the moon, where Home Base evaluates human adaptation to extraterrestrial environments.In the first wave, Bob, Mary, Jose, Jenna, and Bertie live in lava tubes on the moon, with five other families. Everyone, both humans and dogs, performs a daily exercise routine. Home Base assigned each family maintenance duties that are performed once each week.Each person and dog has a chip embedded under the skin on the left wrist. Home Base uses this to monitor each human and dog. Considering the adverse conditions on the moon, they would know in an instant if something changed in their health.When Home Base completes constructing the habitats on Mars, the first wave travels for six weeks in space, and they become Martians. The second wave will move onto the Moon and prepare for their move to the red planet.
