So wrote Luke, the only Gentile writer found in the New Testament Scriptures. Luke saw in Jesus Christ the fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy: "Arise! Shine! Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has dawned. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn."
