About

A board book counting primer for all things NYC from Adina Oberman, with illustrations by Volha Kaliaha sure to delight the tiniest New Yorkers

From one Empire State Building to 10 sneakerheads rocking their kicks downtown, Let's Count New York City introduces readers to the places, food, and people of NYC with a fun counting element. Perfect for locals and tourists alike! Adina Oberman is a New York native, former preschool teacher, and mom of two young kids. For over 15 years, she's helped families through the ups and downs of early childhood. She loves sharing her knowledge of early childhood education and her passion for great children's literature. She's the creator of Big Books for Little Hands, a site dedicated to helping parents and educators find the best books for navigating the challenges of life with kids. She holds a master's degree in early childhood education, with an additional certificate in early childhood special education. Adina is currently part of the Familius marketing team. Volha Kaliaha is a vector designer and illustrator from Minks, Belarus. Motherhood enhanced her life as an artist, helping her to imagine the world from a child's perspective and to see magic in simple things.
Count to ten in this adorable, rhyming counting book featuring New York City. It is so cute! The illustrations include everything from the Empire State Building to bagels.
This book will probably be loved as much by adults as by the kids for whom it is intended. It offers a fun (and sometimes funny) glimpse of the city.
