Jenny

Set in Rome and Norway in 1911. it revolves around the protagonist Jenny Winge who sets out to become a professional painter. However, her plans are scuppered when she falls pregnant by her fiancés father. When the baby dies, she descends into a deep depression that ends in tragedy.
